Rachel Oleinick, AIA

Principal

Rachel is a seasoned architect licensed in Illinois, with over 15 years of expertise in residential construction. Her portfolio ranges from multi-family adaptive reuse to bespoke single-family homes. Eager to embrace new challenges, Rachel thrives on learning innovative techniques, technologies, and best practices, which she eagerly shares with colleagues.

Rachel earned her Bachelors of Architecture from Pennsylvania State University and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects. Previously, she served as the Lecture Chair with Chicago Women in Architecture.

Drawn to Northworks for its diverse residential projects that defy singular stylistic conventions, Rachel values the firm’s collective ethos over individual accolades. She finds fulfillment in collaborating with like-minded professionals who prioritize teamwork over individual recognition.

Rachel is particularly excited about working on the firm’s infrastructure to elevate client services to the next level. Her dedication to internal improvements reflects her commitment to excellence in every aspect of her work.

Outside of the office, Rachel indulges in spoiling her cats, exploring state and national parks, and striving to improve her deadlift PR.
