Philip Spence

Project Associate

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Philip has spent time both on the East Coast and in the Midwest, living and working in cities such as Washington, D.C., New York, and Chicago.

During the summer of 2020, Philip interned for McCrery Architects, a sacred architecture firm in Washington D.C. Soon after, he worked for the Midtown Achievement Program in Chicago, a nonprofit that provides support to underprivileged youth where he led an advising program and taught a 6-week architecture and urbanism course for high schoolers. Afterward, he moved to NYC where he began work for G.P. Schafer Architect (Schafer Buccellato Architects) in September of 2021. There he focused on high-end new-build residential projects as well as home renovations. Philip finds the architectural design process engaging, from beginning to end. He embraces the highly collaborative process of working to achieve the client’s vision.
