Senior Architect
Kim, a Chicago-based architect, infuses her work with a passion for elegant, contemporary design and innovative material exploration. With a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and institutional projects across the United States Kim is recognized for her creative vision and meticulous attention to detail.
She holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a licensed architect in Illinois. With seven years of experience at Studio Gang, Kim specialized in large institutional projects and towers while also delving into set design for TV and film. She is currently engaged in numerous Northworks projects including a mass timber hotel in downtown Jackson Hole and a modern concrete and steel mountain residence, also in Teton Valley.
Kim is committed to integrating contemporary design, elegant material exploration, and structural innovation into her work, reflecting her unwavering dedication to excellence.
Beyond the studio, Kim finds solace in writing music, mastering the guitar, and exploring the art of filmmaking, constantly seeking new avenues for creative expression and personal growth.
