Old Town, Chicago
Inspired by the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse in Maine, the Two Lights collaboration paid homage to the owners summer vacations to the coast of Main enjoying oysters and fresh seafood with family and friends to create a modern haven for rejuvenation and culinary imagination.
The light airiness created by engaging coastal colors is intended to sweep guest away, allow them to disconnect and leave feeling refreshed. Designing crisp, clean surfaces in materials that could hold up to the salty air and wind, transport guests to a welcoming oyster bar on the coast. The nautical geometry in fresh colors were developed from ocean waves and the lighting fixtures above the bar are reminiscent of oyster pearls.
