Chicago, Illinois
The Lodge is constructed on a steep bluff with views both into the tree canopy and overlooking Lake Michigan.
Built as a small outpost, detached from the primary residence, this building serves as a more intimate retreat and entertaining space for the homeowners. Unique old world details such as a family crest and hand carved mantles are incorporated throughout connecting the old with the new.
