AIA CRAN X Northworks Event

Local architects and community members joined us at the Chicago Studio to host the annual CRAN Conversations event, providing an opportunity for interested architects to learn more about a local residential architecture firm’s work process and business model. AIA Chicago’s Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN) was hosted by Northworks Architects, where they presented on topics like: marketing and P.R., H.R, business models, technology, drawing production, contracts, office culture, and design philosophy. 

Nate Lielasus, a Co-Chair and founding member of CRAN Chicago and a Principal at Northworks where he focuses on custom single-family residences and private club work around Chicagoland. During off hours, Nate is active on the board of directors for Friends of Historic Second Church, a preservation organization whose mission is to preserve the art and architecture of the National Historic Landmark Second Presbyterian Church in Chicago’s South Loop.
